Poem by Doniell Cushman
Piles of unread books lurk on
every surface, and in every corner It's said she should hone her craft Know her niche, Know her competitors But she can't even find them or know them all It's absurd, she just wanted to write a useful book. And then there's the question of tool. Should it be print or digital? First-world problems Maybe an editor or an agent should be overlooking this. She fears effort and success as it is. And money is a limited resource. Should she be paying so much for 10-12 comparable texts? It'll take her only five to fifteen minutes to read each. It seems © Doniell Cushman. All Rights Reserved.
