Poem by Doniell Cushman
(Barking in the distance)
Four Ponderosa Pines Seven power lines I sneezed twice because Dogwoods And I want to replace the worthless fence, I once got an estimate But we bought a camper instead My neighbor has two ponderosa pines in their backyard And they replaced their deck last year Then we replaced our car Whom I'll miss when it sells But now I have satellite And a backup cam And no longer will I fear the driveway Which also needs renewal And stump removal My lilac is growing buds for leaves But the tree behind our garage is dead (barking in the distance) © Doniell Cushman.
