Rotor Organ Daydreamer
Apocryphal Sentiments
It Ends In Divorce
Supplicant
Mama Providence
Calamity Dame
Poesy Parker
Rotor Organ Daydreamer
- 65 pages
- This manuscript is a full-length collection related entirely to music. Four parts explore the relationship to music, and my life. I am a lifelong pianist and flautist and love music of all kinds.
Apocryphal Sentiments
- 96 pages
- This collection is about a conversation I am having with two completely different men and is about the two sides of love, or passion. Sometimes, as humans, we go from one extreme to the other. There is more to our person than just the mushy side of love. There is the primal urge, there is the passionate affair, there is the quiet calm, and there is the fighter who will conquer anything. In these conversations, you can clearly tell who is the Gentle Love, and who is the Loud Love.
It Ends In Divorce
- 84 pages
- This manusript is the cumulative collection of poems relating to how my divorce came about, and what I went through during the most difficult times, and the history of my now defunct marriage. Trigger warning for abuse, trauma, and language.
Supplicant
- 79 pages
- This full length manuscript is all about the different aspects of the term supplicant. It meants to be an activist, a petitioner, an aspirant, a lobbyist, and a suitor. Written in 4 sections that highlight these different aspects, I bring life into the term and connect the various personalities they hold to my words in poems. Each part is a different question, such as: 'What do I think about when I am all alone, and how do I convey that by responding to questions posed by relationships, society, etc.?'
Mama Providence
- 40 pages
- This is a chapbook length manuscript that focuses entirely on being a foster mom, and an adoptive mom. The poems are written specifically about my son that is adopted from foster care, and my daughter whom I raised from birth, and was subsequently returned to live with her biological mother 2.5 years later.
Calamity Dame
- 60 pages
- This manuscript is all about my (you guessed it) calamities. From asthma to sexual assault, cancer to neurodivergence, this is a portrait of what it is like to live through so much trauma. Trigger warning for abuse, rape, and language.
Poesy Parker
- 27 pages
- This small chapbook is a collection of poems that were written about parks, and even in the parks as I was there. Plus, I'm a Parker Posey fan and couldn't resist the punny title that screamed to me from the rooftops. This collection features parks in Washington, Idaho, and Wyoming.
