Poem by Doniell Cushman
Dropping Off Your Seahorse
I want to kiss away your tears
As she yanks you away from
me, And pitifully I plaster a
smile, worthless though it is,
onto my face and wave
Then she sucks you into her
abyss and once again
We are broken
