Poem by Doniell Cushman
Enraptured by all things "Mommy"
Her chubby little cheeks are taut Concentrating on getting "her" necklace over head Grinning capriciously Shoving tiny toes into "her" giant unicorn slippers Delight with her cleverness Turns into a cascade of giggles Hers, mine, Daddy's, brother's We all crease up and belly laugh it out She is so enchanting that When the laughter dies, There is permanent frost on our hearts © Doniell Cushman.
